Darcy has spent 20 years working in the excavation and civil construction industry, and in 2026 decided it was time to bring that experience home. After years of working on the road and away from family, he founded Lineham Excavating Limited right here in Central Alberta — the place he’s called home for nearly three decades, having grown up in Olds. Starting his own business meant the ability to be home, build a family, be a support system and provide service his own community.
